Rating: *** 2004 J & H.A.Strub Niersteiner Bruckchen Riesling Kabinett - Rheinhessen, Germany

Review: Ethereal and clear in color, with just a whisper of honey gold. The aroma is bright, sweet and cheerful, a little bit of grass and a little bit of sea brine. The taste is round and sweet, reminiscent of mead, offset by a very light, pleasant acid and clean minerality. The sweetness disappears rapidly in the finish, leaving a smooth, golden, honey polish that lasts for quite a few seconds.
