Rating: *** NV Hopkins Vineyard Gold Label Sparkling Wine - Western Highlands, CT

Review: Nice clean and bright look, aggressive tiny bubbles. Aroma is reminiscent of butterscotch, pears and walnuts. Inviting. Bright, clean acid on the palate, a bit of creaminess with the light pinot noir and chardonnay fruit. Finishes quite fast and, at this young age, doesn’t harbor a great deal of complexity. Worked fabulously well with a salad and meal.
