By way of background:  This is Bennett Family The Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, California, 2004.

Original Review, November, 2007:

In the glass, this Napa cab is opaque magenta/purple.

The aroma is bright, deep purple classic cabernet.

On the palate, this comes across first in terms of its absolute balance. Bright, vibrant fruit, even tannins, deep body, light acids. Nice touch of milk chocolate.

Rating-wise, this one is right on the edge. I was about to give it four stars out of five; but it flattened a bit with air (or with subsequent sipping), so I believed I might actually veer away from it during an evening. So that forces me to three stars, but I'll give it three plus stars with room to grow.

Can't find much in the way of professional reviews, though Neil Drinks Wine thinks pretty highly of this.

Updated review, over six years later, now 10 years from vintage date, January, 2014:  Still deep magenta in the glass.  Deep candied chocolaty oak and black cherry candy on the nose - very distinctive!  Not quite as overwhelming on the palate; shows balanced fruits, acids and tannins with solid fragrance and not a single hint of age.  Four plus stars for the aroma; three plus for the balanced palate.  We'll leave it at three plus stars overall and congratulate this reserve cabernet for its remarkable fragrance and longevity.
