Review and Rating: **** $ MandraRossa Fiano, 2006, Italy

LIVE Review: This is a "practically free" Italian wine made of the fiano grape, not widely known. Light honey colored in the glass. Aromas are modest, light citrus and walnuts. On the palate, this comes alive. Chewy, nutty mid-palate, followed by a smooth chestnut finish. Gorgeous. Four stars out of five. Screaming value.

  1. Good flavor. Fruits and light. Good for sipping or with light dishes
Like salad or light appetizers. Unusual flavor though. Might
Be an acquired taste for amateurs.
