Review and Rating: ** $$ Ermita de Nieve, Verdejo, Cosecha, 2006, Spain

Review: The Ermita de Nieve Verdejo is quite transparent in the glass, with just a touch of yellow. Aroma is medium-bold, grassy and sweet. On the palate, a fruity/grass middle pairs with a quick acidic yet sweet tinge, moving to a fairly quick finish. Pleasant enough, though not memorable. Two stars out of five.

Update, September, 2008, with some age, becomes more yellow in glass. Aromas pick up a petrol element. Still sweet, even finish
