Review: This tempranillo-based Castillo de Monte la Reina Roble is deep red in the glass. The aromas are deep, rich and crusty, with a touch of candy apple. Quite bold.
On the palate, this is oaked, dark, deep, round black cherry, with medium tannins and touches of chocolate and cinnamon. Solid finish. Four stars out of five.
