Review and Rating: ***+ $$ Chateau Lezongars, 2003, Premiere Cotes de Bordeaux, France

Review: The Chateau Lezongars comes across as shy in its aromas. There are old world elements with added light fruit and oak.

On the palate, the wine shows more intensity. There is a round attack, framed by a light wood funk. This is evenly balanced, and reasonably concentrated. Three stars with a plus for age-worthiness.
