Review and Rating: **+ $$$ Robert Grillou Gigondas, 2005, France

Review: The Robert Grillou Gigondas is medium dark red in the glass. Aromas are deep and raisined, almost port-like. The palate is crusty - think "Old Man and the Sea" by Hemingway. Dark and bright at the same time. Two stars with a plus for being all grizzled.
