*** $ King Fish Shiraz, 2006, CA - Review and Rating

Original Review, October, 2008: The King Fish Shiraz, 2006, is a California shiraz, house wine style.

Medium red in the glass, its aromas are potent, deep dusty fruit, hints of oak. On the palate, a balanced, deep fruit is apparent on the middle of the mouth. Light acids and tannins accompany a lightly-sweet finish. Fairly bright overall, though with a couple of layers. Three stars out of five.
Updated Review, December, 2008: Consistent notes: Deep red/purple. Except mild inky aroma this time. Dark blueberry in the middle of the palate, light tannins, mild quick finish.
