***+ $$ Gunderloch Riesling Kabinett Jean Baptiste, 2007, Rheinhessen, Germany - Review and Rating

LIVE Review: in the glass, very pale yellow. Aroma is mild grass, touch of hay. Palate is sweet and weighty in the middle, almost reminiscent of light figs at first. Odd initially, then increasingly intriguing. Finishes in a lingering, lightly sweet way. Three stars out of five; and we'll have to add a plus for the "intriguing" part.
