** $$ Anima Negra Quibia, 2007, Falanis, Mallorca, Spain - Wine Review and Rating

Review: Tasted at the Brown University Latin American Council wine tasting in New York City. The Anima Negra Quibia is a combination of premsal and muscat grapes. In the glass, it shows as mid-clear with a green caste. Aromas are funky, mild and somewhat rubbery. Same with the palate, which displays a bright, dry, funky style with brief finish. Two stars. I wouldn't seek it out again.
