**** $$$$ Bodega Bouza Tannat A6 Parcela Unica, 2004, Montevideo, Uruguay - Wine Review and Rating

Review: Tasted at the Brown University Latin American Council (BULAC) wine tasting in New York City. This was my favorite wine of the tasting, made from tannat, a less-well-known grape, but more common as Uruguay's rising star. Deep purple color in the glass. Aromas are deep, reminiscent of old school cabernet sauvignon. Rich impression. Palate is even, minerally, shows a flush, long finish. Four stars. I'd stick with this for an evening.
