Original Review:

By way of background: Chateau Olivier in Pessac-Leognan, in the Bordeaux region of France, dates all the way back to the 1100's.  Its 2007 white wine, which we are sampling here, is a blend of 50% sauvignon blanc, 45% semillion and 5% muscadelle.

In the glass: Chateau Olivier Blanc shows as clear in the glass, with a hint of vanilla.

On the palate: The first element on the palate is a simple, clean palate which, by distinction, yields three stars on the five-star Spirit of Wine scale.
