Original Tasting and Review:

By way of background: This is Cameron Hughes Lot 151, a combination of Riesling 70% and Chenin Blanc 30% from Columbia Valley, WA. The 2009  vintage is finished at a mere 12.% alcohol.

In the glass: This white wine combination shows as light honey.

On the nose: Poured quite cool, Lot 151 shows sweet, fresh, crispy mixed grasses.

On the palate: The primary elements on the palate are a lightly sweet and very fresh mid palate, slightly effervescent and  showing a kiwi-like tanginess and fruitiness. Apple-style acids buttress the light sweetness and bring each sip into your cheeks. Medium, clean  finish.

In summary: Overall, three stars and a plus for exquisite pleasure, and a best value from  Cameron Hughes.
