By way of background, opening thoughts: This is a brief tasting note from an open-to-the-public summer wine tasting recently sponsored by The New York Gourmet Society at the Bohemian National Hall.  As such, this is an unusually brief, truncated review, not in classic Spirit of Wine depth, but designed to provide a quick impression of the wine.  As to the summer wine tasting itself, the range of wines provided by Garnet Wines & Liquors was impressive, the appetizers (cheeses, olives, bread) simple but regularly replenished, and the crowd quite diverse internationally and in ages.

Original tasting and review : This is Domaine Michel Bouzereau Borgogne Blanc, Burgundy, France, 2009.

On the nose: Poured at room temperature and swirled vigorously, shows crisp and clean.

On the palate: The primary elements on the palate are in fact crispy with a bit of oak and fun.

In summary: Overall, rates three stars on the five-star Spirit of Wine scale.
