By way of background, opening thoughts: Here is a value priced tempranillo from - where else? - Spain.

Original tasting and review : This is SoLGaSa Tempranillo, LaMancha, Spain, nv, finished at 12.% alcohol.

In the glass:  Deep purple magenta.

On the nose: Poured cool and swirled lightly, shows almost concord grape, inky purple.

On the palate: The primary elements on the palate are in fact dry, fresh concord plums.  Simple, lightly bright. Quick, fresh finish.

In summary: Overall, rates two stars on the five-star Spirit of Wine scale, with a plus for friendliness.
