Quickie tasting notes: Museum
Cigales Real Reserva, Spain, 2005, brings full-fledged barnyard, stinky feet and old world bramble to the nose of this tempranillo. The palate adds solid new world fruit to the old world aromatics.
Overall: Rates three stars on the five-star Spirit of Wine scale, with a plus for the complexity of the combination.
