Quickie tasting notes:  This is Chateau Canon La Gafelfeliere Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, Bordeaux, France, 2009.  Sweet and full woodiness on the nose.  On the palate, shows round, bold, solid and fully perfumed fruit.  It is definitely ready for age too.
 
Overall: Rates four stars on the five-star Spirit of Wine scale.
