Quickie tasting notes:  This is Duckhorn Paraduxx C Blend, Napa Valley, California, 2009.  The "C" means a cabernet-dominated blend.  This shows full, bold, black berries on the nose.   The palate is solid, bold, full and sweet with a lasting finish. 
 
Overall: Rates four stars on the five-star Spirit of Wine scale, with a plus for its strong, even-handed balance.
