Over 65 Wineries, Breweries and Restaurants Offering Samplings at Woodland Hills, CA, on April 18

For your next wine-tasting plans on the West Coast, consider Valley Cultural Center's 14th Annual Summer Food, Wine & Microbrew Festival. This year’s festivities will take place on Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:45 p.m. in a luxurious 20,000 square-foot garden setting at Westfield Promenade, 6100 Topanga Canyon Blvd (corner of Erwin St. and Topanga Canyon Blvd) in Woodland Hills.

pastedGraphic.tiffGuests will sample wines, microbrews and other beverages, from more than 50 vendors including Caymus Vineyards, Merryvale Vineyards, The Stonehaus, Duckhorn Wine Company, J Lohr Vineyards, Anheuser Busch and The Lab Brewing Company.
For your colleagues who are not visiting for the wines, they will enjoy delectable and taste-tempting items from more than 16 restaurants including Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar, Kate Mantilini, PF Chang’s China Bistro, Roy’s Hawaiian Fusion Restaurant and Ruth’s Chris Steak House.

“This year, there will be live and silent auctions boasting fantastic items including cruises, golfing and luxury spa packages, and plenty of themed basket items,” said this year’s event chair, Mark Blackman.

Net proceeds directly benefit the Valley Cultural Center (VCC), a non-profit, which produces free community programming such as Concerts on the Green, Movies on the Green, Monday Morning Concerts for children and the July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza.

Westfield returns as the event’s presenting sponsor, in addition to sponsors and supporters: Goose Island, Wells Fargo, Councilman Dennis P. Individual tickets can be purchased for $75. Group orders for 2-9 tickets are priced at $65 each and for a group of 10 or more, tickets can be purchased for $55 each.
