Original tasting and review : This is Pepi Sauvignon Blanc, California, 2012, finished at 13.% alcohol.

In the glass: Clear with hints of yellow.

On the nose: Poured at  room temperature and swirled vigorously, shows smooth, sweet grass.

On the palate: The primary elements on the palate are in fact bright, fresh, easy green notes, with fruit that is glinty and sweet.


In summary: Overall, just touches three  stars on the five-star Spirit of Wine scale, making it a best value given its price point

Original tasting and review : This is Pepi Pinot Grigio, California, finished at 12.5% alcohol.

In the glass: Light yellow.

On the nose: Poured at  room temperature and swirled vigorously, shows soft hints of funky fruit.

On the palate: The primary elements on the palate are in fact tangy and fresh with the funky white fruit noted in the nose plus a distinct minerality.

In summary: Overall, rates an easy three stars on the five-star Spirit of Wine scale, almost touching a plus for its layers.  Easy best value.
