Original tasting and review : This is Estancia Cabernet Sauvignon, Keyes Canyon Ranches, Paso Robles, California, 2004, finished at a comparatively shy 13.5% alcohol.

In the glass: Deep mahogany, with some dark brick hints.

On the nose: Poured at cellar and swirled vigorously, shows deep, plush, classic cabernet.  From the aroma, seems like this will be sweet, lush and rich.

On the palate: The primary elements on the palate are in fact full of bold, fragrant fruit, carrying cinnamon, cassis, rich blackberry and oak surround.  Solid tannins and light supporting acids generate a modest, clean finish that lodges in your cheeks, showing no signs of too much age.

In summary: Overall, rates four stars on the five-star Spirit of Wine scale.  Best value.  Great ager.
