Original tasting and review : This is Chateau Ste Michelle Dr. Loosen Eroica Riesling, Columbia Valley, Washington, 2007,  finished at 12% alcohol.

In the glass: Light yellow and hint of gold.

On the nose: Poured at cellar temperature and swirled vigorously, shows gentle bright grasses.  From the aroma, seems like this will be light and bright, with full aromas.

On the palate: The primary elements on the palate are in fact sweeter and more honeyed than anticipated, showing some light, easy-going butterscotch with the bright grasses.  Finish lingers just for a few moments with the sweet notes, then moves to a little crisp and vanishes.

In summary: Overall, rates three stars on the five-star Spirit of Wine scale, with a plus for its very easy-going nature.  Good value.
