Original tasting and review : This is Cloud Break Pinot Noir, California, 2012, finished at a mere 12.5% alcohol and first sampled two years from vintage date, in August, 2014.

In the glass: Medium ruby red.

On the nose: Poured at room temperature and swirled vigorously, shows deep, sweet fruit, some light balloon funkiness.  From the aroma, seems like this will be easy going indeed.

On the palate: The primary elements on the palate are in fact quite easy going, showing soft, furry sweet fruit, very light acids which lightly tuck into your cheeks and settle.  Pleasant, but not distinctive in aromatics, flavors or texture.

In summary: Overall, touches three stars on the five-star Spirit of Wine scale.  Best value because of the attractive price point.
