Original tasting and review : This is Thorn-Clarke Terra Barossa Single Vineyard Chardonnay, Eden Valley, Barossa, Australia, 2007 finished at 1% alcohol and first sampled seven years from vintage date, in September, 2014.

In the glass: Light yellow.

On the nose: Poured at cool room temperature and swirled vigorously, shows bold, tangy citrus.  From the aroma, seems like this will be deep and full.

On the palate: The primary elements on the palate are in fact sleek, sweet and full of pear and ripe citrus (think ripe orange, but with a peachy/pear flavor).  Bright notes with a sweet finish.

In summary: Overall, rates an easy three stars on the five-star Spirit of Wine scale, with a plus for its texture and weight.
