Original tasting and review : This is Benoit Dreyer Castillo de Tafalla Angel's Selection Rosado Garnacha Rose, Navarra, Spain, 2012, finished at 13.5% alcohol and first sampled two years from vintage date, in November, 2014.

In the glass: Light pink and brick.

On the nose: Poured at cold temperature and swirled vigorously, shows dry, earthy, subtle fruit.  From the aroma, seems like this will be sophisticated and perhaps friendly.

On the palate: The primary elements on the palate are in fact light red currant fruit, with very subtle elements of cocoa.  Palate is bright and finish is modest and clean.

In summary: Overall, rates two star with a big plus on the five-star Spirit of Wine scale, making this a nice sipper at a bargain price point.
