Original tasting and review : This is Miguel Torres Santa Digna Cabernet Sauvignon Rose Reserva,  Central Valley, Chile, 2012, finished at 13.5% alcohol and first sampled two years from vintage date, in November, 2014.

In the glass: Light ruby and brick red.

On the nose: Poured at cool room temperature and swirled vigorously, shows bright, yet just slightly funky red fruit.  From the aroma, seems like this will be playful and real.

On the palate: The primary elements on the palate are in fact showing a clean, full mouth feel of rich but mineral-laden fruit, red in attitude but full of clean verve that only a non-red varietal would display.  Poised between depth and lightness, creates a clean wave across your palate and a gentle relaxation to a slow, full, clean finish.

In summary: Overall, rates three stars with a big plus for poise on the five-star Spirit of Wine scale, making this a solid best value.
