Original tasting and review : This is LeSec Bouquet Cotes du Rhone, France, 2005, finished at 14% alcohol and first sampled 10 years from vintage date, in January, 2015.

In the glass: Light bright gentle ruby red

On the nose: Poured at cool room temperature and swirled vigorously, shows  funky, stinky feet old world with some fruit.   From the aroma, seems like this will be seriously old world, and perhaps bright.

On the palate: The primary elements on the palate are in fact bolder and fuller on the palate than expected, with some purple robes of flavor blended with bold tannins.

In summary: Overall, rates a solid three stars on the five-star Spirit of Wine scale.
