Original tasting and review : This is Mumm Napa Brut Prestige, Napa Valley, California, NV, finished at 12.5% alcohol and sampled in March, 2015.

In the glass: Serious foam head.  Once it fades, you find a clear butterscotch coloring.

On the nose: Poured at room temperature and swirled vigorously, shows shy aromas with light funk.

On the palate: The primary elements on the palate are clean medium finish, very light acids, just enough sweetness to bring a friendly lift.  But no residual sugar to speak of.  Lightly creamy style, with crystal clear finish.

In summary: Overall, rates easy three  stars on the five-star Spirit of Wine scale.
