Review: **** $$ Oak Farm Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc, Lodi, California, 2016 = BEST VALUE

Check out today's pricing and retail availability for Oak Farm Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc.

Original tasting and review : This is Oak Farm Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc, Lodi, California, 2016, finished at 13% alcohol and first sampled one year from vintage date, in April, 2017.  It was part of a regional tasting of Lodi Wines hosted by The Wines of Lodi California (LoCA) and sponsored by Calhoun Wine.

Inspired by this wine: Riding a coaster down a steep, grassy hill with a great friend. All laughs.

In the glass: Clear transparent, lightest hint of lemon.

On the nose: Poured at room temperature and swirled vigorously, shows sheltered lemon and citrus.  From the aroma, seems like this will be understated and conservative.

On the palate: The primary elements on the palate are in fact soft, fruity, fun with bold melange of citrus, stone and melon fruit.  Full surround sound in your mouth to start; the sugars gently fold into wisps to finish.

In summary: Overall, rates four stars on the five-star Spirit of Wine scale, making this a best value based on its price point.
